ATK SL World Cup ski mountaineering bindings. These are the historic ATK race attacks: the first appearance dates back to 2011.
Over the years they have undergone improvements to perfect them in every little detail and make them appreciated by every skier.
Like all ATK, SL attachments, they are characterized by extreme lightness (110 g each) thanks to the various technologies and patents applied which reduce the weight and simplify their use.
- Rolling-In System: first patent applied consists of a 'U' shaped spring with rotating bushes (perforated cylinders) that speed up and facilitate hooking on the heel with all snow conditions, even when it is cooler. The rear part of the attachment is also equipped with a door stiffness adjustment system.
- Easy Entry System: this second patent consists of a shape of the front tip that is renewed and improved so that all ski touring boots can easily enter, even those with the most worn sole.
- Monolink Technology 1.0: this technology consists in making one of the two arms of the fixed tip, so as to save about 2.5 g for each attack, to make the coupling more rigid and to exert less pressure on the locking system.
When it concerns the lateral and frontal release values (DIN) they have been chosen and studied in collaboration with the ATK athletes. The race setting of these SL Wolrd Cup bindings therefore has a lateral release value of 8 and a frontal release value of 9: with these values an excellent balance between safety and stability has been achieved.
